INJURED MARINE
Now we can get to the purpose of this story. I will attempt to show
you what this war is costing us, not in money but in frustration, sorrow,
heartache, and desperation. I have searched my soul and cannot believe
our country will continue to allow so many of our young men to have their
lives shattered. Imagine the suffering of these men, and yet they don't
complain. I have only one question to ask: WAS IT WORTH THE LOSS OF ONE
MAN in these senseless wars? My answer is that all of Korea, all of Vietnam,
and all of Iraq are not worth losing ONE AMERICAN SOLDIER. What good did
Korea, Vietnam, or Iraq accomplish? Once again it is obvious that we had
no business in any of these. Americans don't seem to lose any sleep over
these conflicts.
