INTRODUCTION
These biographical recollections cover the complete life of Wayland Mayo, from his early entry into the Korean War in the 31ST, later the 91ST SRS, through his life in aviation. He spent his entire life in various areas of aviation, finally selecting a career in aerial mapping, a specialty he learned while in the Air Force. His experience in the Air Force developed skills that would influence the path he selected to pursue over a lifetime.
